Latest Release of SocksvrQ ActiveX Network Server SDK for NT/2000 Increases Performance

SocksvrQ is an SDK that provides a high performance COM DLL designed exclusively for the purpose of creating high performance network server applications on Windows NT and 2000.  As part of this design goal, SocksvrQ was built to scale multiple processors, and to take advantage of Window NT (and later) specific performance features (such as I/O Completion Ports). The latest release of SocksvrQ takes performance to a new level by using socket and memory pooling, allowing sockets and memory to be pre-allocated into a pool and then used and reused from the pool.  Download the latest demo version here.

Over the last year, we have been working feverishly to provide more and more support for various environments, and amongst them are Delphi and C++ Builder.  As a Borland Partner, DataWizard has been working with Borland to test and ensure the highest levels of performance and compatibility of our products with Borland’s C++ Builder and Delphi. This means better integration with these environments, as well as more samples with C++ Builder and Delphi code.

SocketQ is an SDK that provides a high performance COM DLL designed exclusively for the purpose of creating high performance network server applications for Windows 9x/NT/2000 and later. With many of the same features as SocksvrQ, SocketQ is ideal for building network server applications that must run across a wide range of Windows OSes, but still retain speed.  In the latest release, SocketQ includes a number of enhancements such as queuing support for using the TransmitFileByName method in order to queue files for transfer in a background thread without having to wait for each file to complete. SocketBlock is an SDK that provides a high performance COM DLL provides the ability to create a firewall and build it into your application. The first commercial ActiveX Component to offer this functionality, SocketBlock allows developers to ensure that their application is able to properly handle denial of service attacks, and other such security threats that are inherent in network applications that run on any kind of a network. In the latest incarnation SocketBlock has been completely rebuilt with a new driver based architecture in order to overcome some operating system limitations.
